Week 29

We had a Drs appt today, my numbers look good, babies numbers look good. Baby McD is head down, which is nice to hear, (one less thing to hear about). We signed up for prenatal classes, those ought to be interesting. I hope neither myself nor JJ pass out during the "movie" that will be a story in itself. 

How far along: 29 Weeks.. Holy crap were getting into countdown mode. (I just re-read that and had another moment of realization dang, we're 11 weeks out)

How big is the baby: Baby McD is approx 15 inches long and weighs around 3lbs.  And I say approx because in polite Dr terms "the fetus is rather large for its gestational age." Haha

Total weight gain: I only gained 1lbs since my last appointment. woot woot! 

Best moment of the week: I always feel most content when I feel BabyMcD move. and we had a Drs check up visit today and we heard his heartbeat... nice and strong :)

Worst moment of the week: Today I was feeling a little overwhelmed at my appt. Between going back and forth between the lab and the Dr and lab and Dr and this shot and this shot and getting blood drawn, signing up for three prenatal classes, my Dr. running out of the office for some random persons emergency delivery it was just dizzying... Thank goodness I'm now home, with a full belly, with my furry babies and a space heater :)

Symptoms: nothing new this week... just some random uncomfortable pains, nothing crazy though. The kid is moving more and more and getting stronger by the day. 

Movement: He is getting so strong. He kicked so hard today that I had to stop what I was doing and assess the situation. lol. OH and I've been watching him move! its the weirdest thing ever! its one thing to feel him, but to watch.. woahhh JJ say him move to and i think it might have freaked him out a little bit

Have you started to show?:  I found myself saying "big belly" as JJ has been putting it for weeks now. I am thankful I still fit into my regular clothes (I didn't say they weren't a little a tight, but my pants can still button!) but no maternity clothes, yet

Wedding Rings On or Off: On 

What I’m looking forward to: tomorrow, we make lasagna. enough said :)

What I miss the most: Not feeling like a science project. Today at my appt I had drank this orange soda mixture for the diabetes test, 4 vials of blood drawn, a flu shot, and the whooping cough shot. I was starting to get a "hot" and hot terms for me means border line passing out.
